Defining the files to be used in the routine

For each routine the user must define those files that are to be referenced in the routine definition. In addition, they can specify those files that will also be utilised in the additional code, thus saving them the trouble of coding the file opening. To do this, select option 3 from the main menu. REMEMBER you must be processing the right item. When defining the screen for the main booking routine, check that EXAMPLE is displayed against ITEM NAME.

Only two files are required for the main booking screen. These are EG1 and EG2. Enter the short codes in the screen. After this has been done the screen should look as follows.

For the item definition screen, only one file is required, EG2. Once this has been entered, the screen should look as follows.

When in this option try using the search facility which can be called up by hitting the invert key.
