Auto generation of menu screen display

By the time the user has reached this entry, they will have already defined the links and their tags. As such it is possible for the system to generate the menu display from these definitions.

The menu display is generated on a page by page basis. If the user wishes to generate the display for the page that is currently being defined, they can use either [TAB] F S or [TAB] F U. The difference between the two is that the S option will generate the display in the sorted order of the option tags. The U option will generate the display in the order in which they have been entered in the link definition window. The system will automatically space the text according to the number generated and will overwrite any existing text for the page.

If the user wishes to generate the screen display text for another page, they must move the cursor to the appropriate page and then enter the appropriate [TAB] function.
