Running the inversion

Every time PARADYME encounters a table file for which an inversion is defined, the appropriate code is included in the generated program. Note that if the inversion parameters subsequently change, the routine does NOT need to be regenerated.

Once a program has been generated with the inversion code, then the inversion routine is invoked when the user hits the [INVERT] key on an appropriate field. If this happens, the following screen is displayed.

The user is then prompted for a number of input values. These values are as follow:-

The MENU system does suffer from limitations with regards to differences in COMMON area. However, this is far outweighed by the benefits of providing a powerful and flexible means of linking routines and processes together. It provides an integrated and secure system that can easily be adapted for the user.
