ID display


As part of the inversion, the user defines the fields that are to displayed and how then are to be displayed. The following fields govern the display of record Ids that have matched the selection criteria.

 ID Len

This defines the column width in characters to be used when displaying selected IDs.

 Just

This defines the ID is to be justified when it is displayed. Permitted values are L(eft), R(ight) or C(entre).

 Colour

When the ID is display, this entry will determine in which colour the Ids will be displayed on the screen.
Permitted values for this entry are the screen effect codes as described in the section "Assigning user screen effects". I.e. values such as ICOL, DCOL, etc.

 Conversion

This refers to any valid conversion code that is used with the OCONV statement. This conversion will be applied to the ID before it is displayed.
